The "Scottish Nationals" had simply outgrown it's
previous venue in Stirling, but by now, 5 years on, it had fully "settled in"
to the current venue, the Dewars Centre, in Perth. The show still retains its
relaxed, friendly atmosphere though ! 
For our display this year, we had 150 models on the
tables - everything in 1/72nd scale, except for one 1/32nd scale Starfighter.
They were built by five of our members.
Back in 2000, the last year in Stirling, we were
the first-ever recipients of the "Best Display" award : In 2005, we became the
first to win it twice ! |
