Official SIG Displays for the
Red Arrows 40th Season, 2004

Red Arrows
40th Anniversary Exhibition,
RAF Museum, Hendon

All these photos were taken at the official exhibition opening, Tuesday 25th May, 2004.

The team pose outside the Museum, having just been presented with specially-crafted 40th anniversary Fabergé Eggs. The eggs then went on display in the exhibition.

The team line up for the opening of the exhibition, flanking one of many works of Red Arrows art on display there.

The display case housing our models of RAF Display Teams.

Another view of the display case, holding 31 of our models.

A look inside the case, starting from the earliest teams....

... moving through the 50s and 60s.....

...coming right up to date, showing the evolution of the Red Arrows.

Rachel Huxford, the Team's P.R. Officer, checks out the models.

2004 Team Leader, Spike Jepson, takes a moment to study the model display.

An integral part of the exhibition was a display of original Red Arrows paintings.

Most of the paintings will be familiar to many people - but it is important to note that these are the originals, held in custody by the Red Arrows.

The three beautiful 40th anniversary Fabergé Eggs, in their display case.
But can you spot the mistake on the cards for the "CFS Egg" and the "Diamond Nine" Egg...?
